Wok Vegetables

Ingredients

  • One strip of pork tenderloin
  • 4-5 carrots
  • One jar bamboo shoots
  • One jar soybean sprouts
  • One large onion
  • One head of broccoli
  • Peanut oil
  • 350ml chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • A handful of peanuts
  • Rice or noodles
  • Seasonings
    • Paprika
    • Curry
    • Soy sauce
    • Sambal oelek
    • Coriander
    • Cumin
    • Five-spice powder

Wok Preparation

  1. Cut the carrots into sticks and sautΓ© together with a chopped onion in peanut oil.
  2. Add the bamboo shoots and soybean sprouts and let simmer in the wok.
  3. Cut broccoli into small florets and add to the wok as well.
  4. Once the broccoli florets have reached the desired firmness, stir in the sauce from the pan and add the peanuts.
  5. Serve with rice or noodles.

Sauce Preparation (additional pan)

  1. Cut pork tenderloin into thin strips and coat in curry and paprika powder.
  2. Fry the pork tenderloin in peanut oil in a pan and then deglaze with soy sauce.
  3. Add the chicken broth and season with sambal oelek, coriander, cumin and five-spice powder.
  4. Finally, thicken the sauce with cornstarch.
