Spinach Lasagne

This makes enough for a medium to large casserole dish.

Ingredients

  • 500g spinach
  • 1 onion
  • About 100g butter
  • 30g flour
  • 500ml milk
  • 200g double cream cheese
  • 150g feta cheese
  • Lasagne sheets

Instructions

  1. Grease the casserole dish with butter.
  2. Sauté the finely cubed onion in 50g butter.
  3. Add the spinach to the sautéed onion and season with nutmeg and salt.
  4. Prepare a roux with 50g butter, 30g flour and 500ml milk. Then stir in the cream cheese.
  5. Fold the spinach into the roux.
  6. Layer lasagne sheets and spinach alternately in the casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle the casserole dish with crumbled feta cheese.
  8. Bake the lasagne at 180-190°C for about 40 minutes.
