Baguette

- 300ml lukewarm water
- 15g fresh yeast
- 5g sugar
- 380g wheat flour (type 550)
- 7g salt
- 125g crispy fried onions (optional)
Instructions
- Add water, yeast and sugar to a bowl and mix well.
- Add flour, salt and fried onions and knead into a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise for 2 hours.
- Divide the dough into two equal pieces, shape into baguettes and place on a baguette tray with baking paper.
- Dust the baguettes with flour and bake for about 25 minutes at 240Β°C with top and bottom heat.
